MULTI USE RAS BASED WET LAB (MURAW)

This facility, primarily used for feed testing, is equipped with 40 FRP tanks, a sponge filter tank, a bio ring tank, and a collector sample with an air pump. The system is designed to recirculate water through various filtration systems, including a RAS system connected to the 40 FRP tanks, allowing water to be reused for all tanks. These facilities are specifically tailored for testing commercial feeds at different concentrations, providing valuable assistance to fish farmers and feed companies in evaluating feed effectiveness.

MARINE ORNAMENTAL FISH REARING RAS FACILITY (MORR)

A Marine Ornamental RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) Rearing Unit is a facility designed for the intensive and controlled rearing of marine ornamental fish and invertebrates. These units are becoming increasingly popular due to the growing demand for sustainably produced marine ornamental species. The objective of a Marine Ornamental RAS Rearing Unit is to create a controlled environment that replicates the natural habitat of marine ornamental species. This environment aims to optimize growth rates, minimize stress, and reduce environmental impact in comparison to traditional open-water aquaculture methods. Additionally, we are committed to actively engaging fisherwomen participants in this initiative, empowering them to pursue sustainable livelihoods.

INDOOR FEED TESTING WET LAB

This facility, designed specifically for feed testing in glass tanks by stocking fish, will be used by students to conduct their experiments. Such a facility will greatly assist students in gaining practical experience and learning through hands-on experimentation.

Our college's comprehensive array of facilities is tailored to provide students with a well-rounded and enriching educational journey. From cutting-edge laboratories to recreational spaces, each facility contributes to creating a vibrant learning environment that nurtures both academic excellence and personal development.
